Made up of mostly of leaders in business, community and philantropists, the association is led by a committee of 11 core members to run the organisation and its events. Ordinary members who also share similar commitment to the objectives of the association make up the bulk of the membership.

What are your objectives?

The association exists to help raise funds through events such as golf tournaments and dinner functions. Proceeds are used to procure sought-after items and services to improve the learning environment of Penang’s diverse youth populations in local schools.

Who qualifies to join as a member?

If you are interested in helping to raise funds in a fun way and with a group of easy-going business leaders in Penang. You don’t need to be a golfer either

Who is the patron?

The association was formed under the aegis of the then Governor of Penang, Tun Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Abdul Rahman Abbas – the longest serving Governor of Penang. As an ex-teacher, the Tun continues to be our beloved Patron for his enthusiasm for education in his retirement.

Can I join the events without being a member?

Yes, of course! Just contact the Secretariat or a member that you know!
